marīcyādyair mahābhāgaiḥ sanakādyais ca yogibhiḥ
tasmān na laṅghayet saṃdhyāṃ sāyaṃ prātar dvijaḥ sadā //
by the illustrious [sages] such as Marīci, and by the yogins such as Sanaka.
Therefore a twice-born should never neglect the twilight devotion, evening and morning, always.
