rājann aṣṭākṣaro mantraḥ sarvapāpaharaḥ paraḥ
samastayajñaphaladaḥ sarvaśāntikaraḥ śubhaḥ //
O King, the eight-syllabled mantra is supreme, the destroyer of all sins, / bestowing the fruit of all sacrifices, bringing all peace, auspicious.
