vedavedāṅganipuṇaḥ śāstreṣu ca vicakṣaṇaḥ
samidbhiḥ sādhuyatnena sāyaṃ prātar hutāśanam //

skilled in the Vedas and Vedāṅgas, and expert in the treatises, / with proper effort [offered oblations] evening and morning into the fire with sacrificial wood;
