9.2

aham amaragaṇārcitena dhātrā yama iti lokahitāhite niyuktaḥ
hariguruvimukhān praśāsmi martyān haricaraṇapraṇatān namas karomi //

I was appointed as Yama by the Creator, worshipped by the host of immortals, for the welfare and woe of the world; / I punish mortals who are averse to Hari, the Teacher, [but] I bow to those who have bowed down to Hari’s feet.
