te vañcitāḥ paṅgujaḍāndhabhūtā lokeṣu martyāḥ paśubhiśca tulyāḥ /
ye nāśritā rudraśarīrabhūtāṃ sopānapaṅktiṃ tridivasya revām //
Those mortals in this world are deceived, rendered lame, dull-witted, and blind, equal to beasts, / who have not taken refuge at the Revā, which is the body of Rudra, a flight of steps to heaven.
