hiraṇyaṃ rajataṃ vastraṃ yo dadāti dvijātiṣu /
sarvaṃ lakṣaguṇaṃ devi labhate nātra saṃśayaḥ //
Whoever gives gold, silver, or cloth to the twice-born, / receives everything a hundred thousand times over, O goddess; there is no doubt in this.
