śmaśrugrahaṇakrīḍantaṃ dhūlidhūsaritānanam /
puṇyahīnā na paśyanti nijotsaṅgasamāsthitam //

Those destitute of religious merit do not see [a child] seated upon their lap,
playing and pulling at the beard, his face gray with dust.
