103.78

viṣṇuruvāca:
pūjyā yatputratāṃ yānti na kadācicchrutaṃ mayā /
śubhe dadāmi putrāṃste devatulyaparākramān /
rūpavanto guṇopetānyajvinaśca bahuśrutān //

Viṣṇu said:
“That worshipful beings become sons has never been heard by me;
O auspicious one, I grant you sons with prowess equal to the gods,
handsome, endowed with virtues, performing sacrifices, and highly learned.”
