tasmātsnāyī bhavennityaṃ tathā bhasmavilepanaḥ /
narmadātīramāsādya kṣipraṃ siddhimavāpnuyāt //

Therefore, one should bathe constantly and likewise smear oneself with ashes; / having reached the bank of the Narmadā, one will quickly attain success.
