re mūḍha kiṃ viṣādena prāpya karmakadarthanām /
bhavānīvallabhaṃ bhīmaṃ japa tvaṃ bhayanāśanam //
O fool, why despair having attained mistreatment by karma? / Mutter [the names of] the beloved of Bhavānī, the formidable one, the destroyer of fear!"
