brahmahatyā surāpānaṃ steyaṃ gurvaganāgamaḥ /
pātakānāṃ gatirdṛṣṭā na tu viśvāsaghātinām //
"Killing a brāhmaṇa, drinking liquor, theft, violation of the guru's bed: / an expiation is seen for [these] sins, but none for betrayers of trust.
