gatistvamambeva piteva putrāṃstvaṃ pāhi no yāvadimaṃ yugāntam /
kālaṃ tvanāvṛṣṭihataṃ sughoraṃ yāvattarāmastava suprasādāt //
You are the refuge like a mother, like a father to his sons; protect us through this end of the age, / so that we may cross this very terrible time, struck by drought, through your gracious favour!
