teṣāṃ dharmaṃ pravakṣyāmi śrutismṛtyarthacoditam /
yena samyakkṛtenaiva sarve yānti parāṃ gatim //
I shall declare their duty, impelled by the meaning of revelation and tradition, / by properly performing which all go to the highest state.
