agnirjātaḥ sa bhūtānāṃ manuṣyāsurarakṣasām /
sarvadevādhidevaśca ādityastena cocyate //
He became the fire of all beings—humans, asuras, and rākṣasas— / and the supreme deity of all the gods; therefore he is called Āditya.
