narmadātaṭamāśritya sthāpayitvātmanas tanum /
sahasrāṃśuṃ nidhiṃ dhāmnāṃ jagāmākāśamavyayam //
Resorting to the bank of the Narmadā and establishing his body there, / the thousand-rayed one, the repository of splendours, went to the imperishable sky.
