mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchet tu rājendra agnitīrthamanuttamam /
tatra snātvā tu pakṣādau mucyate sarvakilbiṣaiḥ //

Mārkaṇḍeya said:
Then, O best of kings, one should go to the unexcelled Agnitīrtha.
Having bathed there on the first day of the fortnight, one is freed from all sins.
