śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
narmadādakṣiṇe kūle devatīrthamanuttamam /
tatra devaiḥ samāgatya toṣitaḥ parameśvaraḥ //

Œrģ Mārkaᅇကeya said: / On the southern bank of the Narmadā is the peerless Devatģrtha; / coming together there, Parameővara was pleased by the gods.
