pūrṇamāsyām amāvāsyāṃ snātvā tu pitṛtarpaṇam /
yaḥ karoti tilaiḥ snānaṃ tasya puṇyaphalaṃ śṛṇu //
Having bathed on the full moon or new moon day, whoever offers libations to the ancestors / and bathes with sesame seeds—hear the fruit of his religious merit:
