śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tasyaivānantaraṃ cānyatsiddheśvaramanuttamam /
tīrthaṃ sarvaguṇopetaṃ sarvalokeṣu pūjitam //
The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Immediately after that is another, the unsurpassable Siddheśvara, / a pilgrimage place endowed with all virtues and worshipped in all the worlds.
