pūjayitvā yathānyāyaṃ gatapāpā vimatsarā /
āgatā narmadātīre tīrthe snātvā yathāvidhi //
Having worshipped him properly, freed from sin and devoid of malice, / she came to the bank of the Narmadā, and having bathed at the pilgrimage place according to the prescribed rules,
