evamuktaḥ sahasrākṣaḥ praṇamya munisattamam /
brāhmaṇāṃs tān mahābhāgān narmadāṃ pratyagāt tataḥ //
Addressed thus, the thousand-eyed one bowed to the best of sages / and to those illustrious brāhmaṇas, and then went towards the Narmadā.
