śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchen mahārāja somatīrthamanuttamam /
yatra somastapastaptvā nakṣatrapathamāsthitaḥ //
The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go, O great king, to the unsurpassed Somatīrtha, / where Soma, having performed ascetic penance, entered upon the path of the constellations.
