brāhmaṃ padaṃ yatkavayo vadanti śaivaṃ padaṃ yatkavayo vadanti /
kṣetrajñamīśaṃ pravadanti cānye sāṃkhyāśca gāyanti kilādimokṣam //
That which the wise call the state of Brahman, that which the wise call the state of Śiva, / and others call the Knower of the Field, the Lord, and the Sāṃkhyas sing of as primal liberation,
