ekā mūrtistridhā jātā brāhmī śaivī ca vaiṣṇavī /
sṛṣṭisaṃhārarakṣārthaṃ bhavedevaṃ maheśvara //
One form has become threefold: relating to Brahmā, Śiva, and Viṣṇu, / for the sake of creation, dissolution, and protection; it should be thus, O Maheśvara."
