kṣayaṃ yānti ca dānāni yajñahomabalikriyāḥ /
na kṣīyate mahārāja tatra tīrthe tu yatkṛtam //
Gifts and the rituals of sacrifice, oblations, and offerings come to an end; / but what is done at that pilgrimage place does not diminish, O great king.
