babhāṣe devadeveśo rukmiṇaṃ bhīṣmakātmajam /
gaccha svakaṃ puraṃ mā bhaiḥ kuru rājyamakaṇṭakam //
The lord of the god of gods spoke to Rukmin, the son of Bhīṣmaka: / 'Go to your own city, do not fear, and rule your kingdom without rivals!'
