ṛgyajuḥsāmavedānāṃ paṭhanād yatphalaṃ bhavet /
tatra tīrthe tu rājendra gāyatryā tatphalaṃ labhet //
Whatever fruit arises from the recitation of the Ṛg, Yajur, and Sāmavedas, / at that pilgrimage place, O ruler of kings, one obtains that fruit merely by the Gāyatrī.
