mārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
asmāhakaṃ tato gacchet pitṛtīrthamanuttamam /
pretatvādyatra mucyante piṇḍenaikena pūrvajāḥ //

Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go to Asmāhaka, the unexcelled pilgrimage place for ancestors, / where ancestors are freed from the state of hungry ghosts by a single rice-ball.
