puṣpaiḥ sampūjya deveśaṃ naivedyaṃ yaḥ pradāpayet /
so 'śvamedhasya yajñasya phalaṃ prāpnoti puṣkalam //
whoever offers food offerings having worshiped the Lord of gods with flowers / attains the abundant fruit of a horse sacrifice.
