yo dadāti dvijaśreṣṭha tasya puṇyaphalaṃ śṛṇu /
tasya te dvādaśābdāni tṛptiṃ yānti na saṃśayaḥ //
Listen to the fruit of merit for him who gives [these], O best of the twice-born: / they attain satisfaction for twelve years for him, there is no doubt.
