tameva nīlamityāhurnīlaḥ pañcavidhaḥ smṛtaḥ /
yastu vaiśyagṛhe jātaḥ sa vai nīlo viśiṣyate //
they call that very one a nīla bull; the nīla is traditionally held to be of five kinds. / But that which is born in the house of a Vaiśya, that nīla is indeed superior.
