15.6

hāhāravākranditanisvanaiśca prabhinnarathyāgṛhagopuraiśca /
babhūva ghorā dharaṇī samantāt kapālakośākulakarburāṅgī //

With the cries of "Alas, alas!" and wailing sounds, and with highways, houses, and gate-towers broken down, / the earth became dreadful on all sides, its body variegated and strewn with a heap of skulls.
