devadevo 'pi devānām avasthātritayaṃ gataḥ /
sāttvikīṃ rājasīṃ rājaṃstāmasīṃ tāṃ śṛṇuṣva me //
Even the God of Gods entered the three states— / the pure, the passionate, and the dark, O king; listen to them from me.
