evaṃ dṛṣṭaḥ sa devena saśaraḥ saśarāsanaḥ /
bhasmībhūto gataḥ kāmo vināśaḥ sarvadehinām //
Seen thus by the god, with his arrows and with his bow, / Kāma, the destroyer of all embodied beings, was turned to ash and gone.
