evamukto dvijaḥ prāha priye 'dyāhaṃ vratānvitaḥ /
gacchedānīṃ varārohe dāsya ṛtvantare punaḥ //

Addressed thus, the twice-born said: 'My dear, today I am bound by an observance.
Go now, O fair-hipped woman; I will give [myself to you] again in another fertile season.'
