na mātā na pitā bandhuḥ patanaṃ narakārṇave /
uddharanti yathā puṇyaṃ śuklatīrthe nareśvara //
Neither mother, nor father, nor kin rescue [one] from falling into the ocean of hell / in the way that religious merit at Śuklatīrtha does, O lord of men.
