śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchetparaṃ tīrthaṃ saṅgameśvaramuttamam /
narmadādakṣiṇe kūle sarvapāpabhayāpaham //

The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then one should go to the supreme, excellent pilgrimage place, Saṅgameśvara, / on the south bank of the Narmadā, which removes the fear of all sins.
