brahmacaryasthito nityaṃ yastu pūjayate śivam /
iha jīvansa deveśo mṛto gacched anāmayam //
He who, abiding constantly in celibacy, worships Śiva, / lives in this world as a lord of gods and, upon death, goes to the realm free from disease.
