śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca:
tato gacchenmahārāja tīrthaṃ paramapāvanam /
narmadāyāṃ suduṣprāpaṃ siddhaṃ hyanarakeśvaram //
The venerable Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Then, O great king, one should go to the supreme purifying pilgrimage place / on the Narmadā, very difficult to attain, the perfected Anarakeśvara.
