tasyedamātmanaḥ sarvamanāderādimicchataḥ /
prathame māsi sa kledabhūto dhātuvimūrchitaḥ //
all this belongs to that self which, being beginningless, desires a beginning.
In the first month, it becomes a fluid mass mingled with the bodily elements.
