saṃvatsaro 'yaṃ parivatsaraśca udvatsaro vatsara eṣa devaḥ /
dṛṣṭo 'pyadṛṣṭaḥ prahutaḥ prakāśī sthūlaśca sūkṣmaḥ paramāṇureṣaḥ //
This god is the saṃvatsara, the parivatsara, the udvatsara, and the vatsara. / Though seen, he is unseen; he is offered into [the fire], luminous, gross, subtle, and an atom.
