ṛgyajuḥsāmasaṃjñānām abhyastānāṃ tu yatphalam /
samyagjaptvā tu vidhinā gāyatrīṃ tatra tallabhet //
Whatever fruit is recited as belonging to the study of the Ṛg, Yajur, and Sāmavedas, / one obtains that there by duly reciting the Gāyatrī mantra according to rule.
