teṣāṃ nātho jagadyonirnarmadātaṭamāśritaḥ /
sāṃvauranātho lokānāmārtihā duḥkhanāśanaḥ //
their protector, the womb of the universe, rests upon the bank of the Narmadā: / the Lord of Sāṃvaura, remover of people’s distress, destroyer of sorrow.
