jyeṣṭhe māsi site pakṣe caturdaśyāmupoṣitaḥ /
dvādaśyāṃ kārayed devapūjanaṃ vaiṣṇavo naraḥ //
In the month of Jyeṣṭha, during the bright fortnight, having fasted on the fourteenth day,
a Vaiṣṇava man should arrange the worship of the deity on the twelfth day.
