ṛcamekāṃ japedyastu ṛgvedasya phalaṃ labhet /
yajurvedasya yajuṣā sāmnā sāmaphalaṃ labhet //

Whoever recites a single ṛc obtains the fruit of the Ṛgveda;
by a yajus, [the fruit] of the Yajurveda; by a sāman, he obtains the fruit of the Sāmaveda.
