satāṃ gehe kila prāptā bhavatāṃ cāpakāriṇī /
sāmenātithipūjāyāṃ śiṣṭe ca gṛhamāgate //
'I have indeed arrived at the abode of the virtuous, yet you act as wrongdoers toward me,
such as I am, in the hospitality due to a guest and a cultured person who has come to your home.'
