ṛṣīṇāṃ vacanaṃ śrutvā śāṇḍilī duḥkhitābravīt /
udite 'rke tu me bhartā mṛtyuṃ yāsyati bho dvijāḥ //
Hearing the words of the ṛṣis, the grieving Śāṇḍilī said: / 'When the sun rises, my husband will meet his death, O twice-born ones!
