172.89

agamyāgamane pāpam ayājyayājane kṛte /
steyācca brahmagohatyāgurughātācca pātakam /
tatsarvaṃ naśyate pāpaṃ vṛṣotsarge kṛte tu vai //

The sin incurred in approaching an forbidden woman, or in performing a sacrifice for one unfit to sacrifice, / and the sin arising from theft, from the murder of a brahmin or cow, and from slaying a guru— / indeed, all that sin is destroyed when a bull is set free.
