māse māse site pakṣe 'māvāsyāyāṃ yudhiṣṭhira /
snātvā tatra vidhānena tarpayet pitṛdevatāḥ //
Month after month, on the new-moon day in the dark fortnight, O Yudhiṣṭhira, / having bathed there according to rule, one should offer libations to the ancestors and the gods.
