īśvara uvāca:
bhobhoḥ surā hi tapasā tuṣṭo 'haṃ vo viśeṣataḥ /
vacanācca viśeṣeṇa dadāmyabhimataṃ varam //
The Lord said: / O gods! I am indeed particularly pleased with your ascetic penance / and especially by your word; I grant the desired boon.
